High Peaks, Low Dubs 2011

So in typical driveway style, its been a month since PVC’s annual VAG bonanza and we thought it was about time for a reflective write up, and some pictures. First off, the weather was amazing and i cared more about chilling in the sun with friends than photography, so bare that in mind ahah.
The location this year was spot on, the Bull i’ th’ Thorn pub on the A515, the same place the monthly meetings are held, only on a large camping field behind rather than the carpark they normally fill out. We arrived pretty early, got a spot all together on the lower field, did a few meet and greets and had a wander.
First off; saw the sportback, which i believe is now in different hands… so i look forward to see what happens next! Next, we saw jules’ RS4, which he had casually got Air fitted at plush, and some tidy audi Q7 (i think?!) splits a couple of days before… as you do. Impressed isn’t the word!
Spotted this cool as fuck taxi Passat on air, rolling 17 inch fuchs!
The T-shirts came out in force, and we saw emma for the first time in ages!

Couple of Mk5s which i really liked, i think the silver one picked up one of the trophies too! The blue one had maaaaaaad width out back!
This white A3 was amazing aswell on RS, had a pretty prime spot on the field for a photograph.
Team White; Alex’s mk2 looked nice, considering he didn’t wash it, and we painted the wheels in 45 minutes 2 days before. Fantastic, also, Tims Mk1 got so much attention and all tim was doing was constantly watching bikers give it stick and being envious for the whole day, until we left and he beat us all home by about an hour. Bloody valver drivers.

All in all, it was such a good day and completely worth the wait. We all rushed to get our cars sorta-done, and everyone actually came out for once! Sunburn, chips, cars and banter, roll on 2012.
